Nkidi Manufacturing was born in 2016 by the founder Thandi Nkidi, award winning entrepreneur of Tabalaza 2018 and Social enterprise 2016, after giving birth in 2014 I was diagnosed with Guilllian barre syndrome which resulted me in being on a weelchair for 12 months, it was in that situation that I felt great edge to assist people living with disability, knowing that the are those who are permanently bound in wheelchairs Started by incubated at innovation hub, African women innovation and Entrepreneur Forum (AWIEF) and Raizcorp
Nkidi Manufacturing have a new design of accessible toilet for physical challenged people (Bontle) is the name of the toilet. The main purpose is to assist those who have upper paraplegic and numbness to reach the place that are hard to reach, using ( bidet and blower) adjustable frames to accommodate a person of any size, those mechanics are controlled by detachable touchscreen remote control, which is operated by solar. It also has a separate user-friendly flushing system with pedals
